Experienced keepers/Herpers in NC
I'm looking to start on venomous pretty soon (copperhead) and I was wondering if there were any experienced keepers in the mid NC area that can help me gain some experience and knowledge. I don't want to rush into it and do anything I will regret. I've been trying to learn as much about them before I start so now I need some tips on handling, caging, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm very interested in working with some crocodilians so just let me know.

I am requesting all keepers in the Tampa, Florida area send a list of hot herps kept to me. I am trying to establish a roster of known hot herps in the immediate area which may present to my ED if bitten. This also help me establish sound treatment protocols if for some reason the hospital is unable to reach me. We are also considering stocking some exotic antivenoms and this will allow me to determine which are most needed. Please email me directly at traumajunkiejoe@Juno.com and please include name and address. In addition please include if you possess antivenom for your herps and how much. Thanks
