Ive only been to South Florida once, but I would say that it would be perfect to look for snakes down there in February. Between the Everglades to Orlando. Then around March and April, the more northern parts of Florida should be warm. But I went to South Florida this past weekend and the tempuature was in the 70s.

If you go futher down the central part of the state, around Orlando of futher south, you should have no problem finding snakes. Now if you go down to the Florida Keys, you should find all kind of trouser snakes.
