I know you`re asking people from the U.S. but things are unusualy warm here. Not since 60 years ago was the 6th of January so warm here. We had good herping weather in the south-west part of the country. It`s raining where I live(North-East) but still pretty cold, not warm enough to find anything scaley :). Maybe, if things will keep heading in this direction in a month I`ll be able to find something. Happy herping to all. Alex S.

dont know why its so warm, im sure the snakes are outside of den sites right now warming up. wonder if the tsunamis have something to do with this? did you all know that as a result of the tsunami the earth is rotating faster? if it keeps speeding up were all gonna die. sounds like fun eh?

I didn`t know the earth was rotating faster but I know that it is rotating at a different angle and that Sri Lanka has moved 40 meters. Weird, huh ?

This shows that the end of the world(humane life is more likely) could come not just from nuclear holocaust or comet collisions but from fenomenons native to earth. Anyway...if we become the next dinosaurs lets just hope that reptiles will live better than they have with us here. Take care y`all.

Okay...Get real!
The Earth is NOT rotating any differently after the earthquake that caused the Tsunami. It warmer because of changing weather patterns, think Greenhouse gases.

Climates change over time that is a fact, and we know threw history, that climate changes have to do with a lot of extinctions. I myself think that our planet is going threw another climate change, I also think that a lot of the extinctions and climate changes we blame on Green House Gases, are actually caused by natural climate changes. I have seen so many conflicting reports about the Green House effects, that I don’t know who to believe. On another note, yes I found one Black Kingsnake the other day, he/she was basking on a old peace of wood behind a old building not fare from my house, he/she was about 3 ½' long and was just as calm as could be, Snake acted like it cared less that I picked it up. It didn’t even try to show off for me and the body of the Snake was already very warm.......Be safe ya’ll, happy herping Wally

Some one very who`s knoledge is very respectable told me that the earth is rotating at a lightly different angle and because of the tsunamies but because of the massive earth-quakes. He also told me that Sri Lanka moved some 40 meters because of this. I know that this is a off-subject so I`ll stop it here. Take care...
