Sure looks like a Black-tailed Rattlesnake,
( Crotalus molossus ), to me.

Black-tailed Rattlesnake, Crotalus molossus it is rather light in color but thats my best guess going by the pattern on the back and the color of the snout

The light color of the Black-tailed Rattlesnake is typical for that area of Texas. As you move West into New Mexico and Arizona, you start seeing more of the darker, greenish or yellowish color. JohnZ
