Just to start out with...
I haven't seen Dean Ripa's profile roll through yet, but I have seen Rourk's.
The list posted was of people that had not yet been added.
I haven't figured out yet how to see the list of who has been added without personally asking Chris and I know that he is still away down south ... in Daytona.
As for wanting herp keepers and not just famous herpetologists and TV personalities, I was more shocked than I can describe to click on the website and find my own face staring back at me. I have been a very vocal proponent of safe husbandry for over a decade but hardly consider myself in a league with most of the names already rolling through. I know for a fact that several others on the current list are much too humble to have put themselves into that listing.
Be patient, I am sure that many others will show up as time permits.

PS I started this thread as the last one was getting quite long and cumbersome. This was not meant as a censorship issue but a convenience one. Enjoy. KHB

Karl,
I too have seen Rourke's spotlight pop up. I wasn't sure either on Ripa, but I'm sure that one will get addressed, as you guys are pretty much on top of things of late...I have to admit, someone has had some free time lately. The site looks better and much of the flukes that used to plague us, I haven't seen.
Perhaps you were nominated by one of your fellow herpers without your knowledge of course.

Okay folks, remain calm.
1) I will look into finding Joe Slowinski.
2) I do not have the link to the Slowinski page. If someone finds it, please post it here.
3) Rudy Komarek? No!

I am sure that the list of folks that are waiting to be added is interminable but we'll get to them as quickly as possible.
As for Steve Irwin, I guess that remains to be seen. Personally, I don't much care one way or the other. I don't really want to get into another debate of his pros and cons. That's not what this list is all about. Theoretically, this list is about people who have given something to the venomous community. As a viewer, I am amazed at all the people I am learning about, not necessarily at the people I already knew about.
