Though the current inventory is once again slightly outdated but still it's pretty close. sept 2005
Keep in mind that the information in the site is intended for the "average Joe"s ability to understand some of the topics.
There will be many more photos uploaded over the next month or so.
Let me know what you think.

Hi Terry
Your website is looking very good. I like the changes and the addition of your lists of "Most Dangerous Venomous". Of course posting such lists will cause "know it alls" to come out from under their rocks to disagree with you.
I do have to make a pilgramige to your Mecca of the reptile world. What a fantastic collection.
Best,
Al

Al,
I had the 'know it alls' at the forefront of my mind when writing the majority of it. the know it alls are actually the reason we re-did it that way. I was tired of them sending me emails etc trying to prove they know more.... We are required to have some sort of top 10 list as that is the single most requested 'hit' on our site. So I worded it very carefully to avoid them and still answer the most common questions that I spend hours a week answering... We'll see if it produces more know it alls, I hope not because anyone with even the smallest cobwebs inbetween the ears will realize that nothing on that subject (or science for that matter) is definitive but we'll see.
I hope you come visit in the future, it is as fine a collection as has ever been assembled...not that I'm biased or anything :)

I wonder what happened to my signature at the bottom of my reply? Anyway, I guess I'll give the website too...

Terry, I noticed your bushmaster is now listed as a muta. It used to be stenophrys. I recall getting one from the same litter as the others from Ripa back in 1999. Did you get rid of the stenophrys? If so, do you know where they went?
Any plans to get a goliath frog for the collection? I'm dying to see one of these in person.
Regards,
Matt Harris

Matt,
If I remember right that stenophrys went to Russia. I would love to have a Goliath Frog, I think that will prove to be one of the most difficult animals to locate legally.... If you have any leads let me know! Actually it is rather difficult to locate any reliable and honest source of animals in Africa... There are a number of animals I would like....
Do you have a source for large female B. asper? I'd like to have another one of them on exhibit, it's been awhile.

Hmmmm, off the top of my head, I know no one, other than myself, Ripa and maybe Thomas E. that have fairly large(8', 12lb+) aspers, though I know of no surplus adults.
I'll drop you an email. I may have another possibility.
Matt
