hey earthguy, i've never fed my kid and my snakes at the same time..........i didn't say "do nothing but think about your snakes"......you're just being ridiculous and arguing an invalid point.....
i have 2 kids.......like i said, one with CP, one who is probably the loudest, moodies baby i've ever heard of....she's out there.......it's not even healthy to always tend to your child after a few months......they are very capable of learning to do things on their own and that's how it was for years before "experts" realized they could come up with some radical child rearing technique, write a book about it and make money doing all of this......
multitasking is where it's at.......i can work, pay bills, balance a canoe on my chin, take care of my snakes, cook, clean, take care of my kid, work on my car, play my xbox, and work out..........amazing....
there just is no reason to give EVERYTHING up for a child because it's just detrimental......it makes you crazy.....you still need outlets, they just need to be close to home, and how much closer can you get than IN your home........
give credit to small humans.....my child loves and respects snakes from a distance........people are only scared of them because they were taught to be......
