Hey Everybody,
Well, its just starting to warm up here, but i'm headed out driving to big bend on friday. Can anybody help me out with some locations, roads, etc....? I dont know how manny shhs members have any experience out there, but its worth a shot. I'm not collecting on this trip so dont worry about that. Also any spots in between GA/SC and Big Bend that i should check out? I know its a little early, but....

If you mean, Big Bend Texas..I really wish you good luck but you're about 2 months too early. The Bend and surrounding environs are fairly high in elevation, and nothing really comes out, especially if you're road cruising, until about the middle of May. I haven't been keeping up with the weather out there, but the earliest I can remember that the locals go out and maybe have some success is mid-late April. If you get lucky, let us know and you'll probably be known as the 1st herper of the season to get something! LOL!
