Did anyone watch the Conan Obrian show last night? A chef by the name of Anthony Bordnae described how at a resturant he ate the still beating heart of a cobra...the waiter brings the snake to the table alive and then makes a slit down the squirming snake and gives you the still beating heart to eat....what a waste of future breeding stock huh? The chief wrote a book "A cooks tour" and the complete story is in there.

Isn't that also a show on the Food Network? When I'm a chef, that's one dish that I'll never serve...
That said, if snakes are specifically bred, raised and harvested for the purpose of being used in the food service industry, then great....just stop depleating wild populations for Rattlesnake stew.
Cheers
Roger
