The coloration and pattern of a Gaboon Viper is one of nature's most amazing creations.
Why would anyone want to mess with it ?
Best Regards

This thread has been started by Chandler Bazzaz again in an unrecognized alias.
He has been banned from here several times for admitting that he keeps venomous snakes in violation of Utah legislation where he claims to be living.
In search of the truth, I personally called the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and asked about the laws concerning exotic venomous reptiles.
The agent that I spoke to was very clear that EXOTIC VENOMOUS REPTILES ARE ILLEGAL IN UTAH.
She then directed me to the website which delineates the applicable laws.
Admittedly the law reads as, well, legalese.
But, after an hour of sifting through the fine print, I have found that exotic venomous snakes are considered '"Prohibited species" means a species or subspecies of amphibian or reptile that if taken from the wild, introduced into the wild, or held in captivity, poses a significant detrimental impact to wild populations, the environment, or human health or safety, and for which a certificate of registration shall only be issued in accordance with Sections R657-53-23(1)(a) or R657-53-19.'
The two sections listed allow for an individual to petition the variance committee to give them a permit or for an institution/college/etc to request a variance.
Either way - it is illegal to keep exotic venomous snakes in Utah without an almost impossible to get permit and Chandler has once again been excised from the site.
Sorry for the disturbance.
