		    | Normally, a symptomatic false water cobra bite results in significant swelling and pain (in an entire limb), which can last for a considerable period of time, although many bites (at least quick, snapping ones) are without any consequence.
There has been one curious case where a very prolonged bite caused recurrent collapse and muscle paralysis.

The chances of a life or limb-threatening bite are very small indeed, but theys hould be treated with care.

 Cheers,

 WW
