There are many other threads on this site that have dealt with Grace in the past - I would try typing her name into the search window on this forum.

Thanks for the tip.
I stayed up the rest of the night on Friday and started a timeline of Grace Olive Wiley known data, no matter how irrelevant. It's only a work in progress now but if others are interested in collaborating, that's cool by me. You can contact me at j papineau at yahoo dot com, if you're interested in collaboration. If so, I will set it up on Google Docs -- no breaks in the email address, of course. In the end we can put it "out there" on this forum.
Also, when I'm not so overwhelmed with other responsibilities, I have some pictures I could share.
In the meantime I found:
1910 - Census Grace Wiley Age 27 Spouse Bert L Wiley 29 Sumner Co., KS [Caldwell, KS is in Sumner County. As of the 2000 Census, the population of Sumner County was 25,946.]
1920 - Census Grace Wiley Age 36 Spouse Bert L - living Neosho Co., KS
1920 - Census Mary Gough 59 living Neosho Co., KS [This would be Chanute, Kansas]
1930 - Census Grace O Wiley Age 47 living in Hennepin Co., Minnesota
1930 - Census Bert L Wiley Age 48 living in Sumner Co., KS
Which does show that Grace and Bert lived in Caldwell, I believe. The census data I found online was summarized and only said "city" instead of identifying the city, which would have been at the top of the page or on an earlier page. The summarized data was to encourage a paid subscription which would show the entire page. I'm near a government archive so I can view the real thing if I live long enough -- or I might subscribe when I have more time.
I must say again how happy I am to find this interest in Grace Wiley. My parents knew her, of course, and she is beloved and legendary within the family. My uncle is her closest living relative, unless her brother Ross had surviving descendants, but I don't think he did.

"In the end we can put it "out there" on this forum."
When you get that together, it would be great for the Articles Section here.
