Speaking of force feeding; someone brought me a cottonmouth that was totally limp and just about on it's way out, so i decided to give it prednizone and believe it or not kitten formula through a suringe and 3 weeks later she seems to be making a comback.....

I always use a modification of Bill Haasts formula for the sick 'uns.
some meat baby food (lamb with lamb gravy is good)
a bit of pedialyte to thin it down
a bit of cod liver oil (same thing as jump start)
you can also add some paste cat food, the brand that bill started with is no longer made.
whatever meds the snakes need (usually panacur and flagyl)
I feed them with a ball tipped dosing needle and syringe. Usually one or two of these feedings will get them eating on their own.
