I am going to florida this summer to look for snakes. I want to know two things. 1.What state in florida is best to find a thik forest. Is the Everglades a thik forest? 2.If I am going to look for hard to see snakes, then should I camp out deep in a forest? or should I just rent a hotel and then go deep into the forest?

What "state in florida" should you look?I hope you mean county,Im not aware of any other states located in the state of Florida! Is the everglades a thik(thick) forest? Are you seriously asking these questions?
And what difference does it make whether you camp out or stay in hotel as to the ease at which you will find your hard to see snakes your looking for?In my opinion the elusive and hard to see snakes will be just that no matter where you choose to make your bed.

It`s HERPETOLOGIST not herpitologis. I am from Europe and I know that the Everglades is a huge swamp(with a lot of other microhabitats included) and that FLorida is a state. Where are you from ?

If you are just going to look, the glades is a great place and they are easy to find. Just drive on the back roads right around sunset. However, if you want to collect, you can’t take anything out of the glades. Try north FL near the AL line if you want to collect.
