OK, I know cobras are the most intelligent of snakes and take better care of their young for longer periods of time than most other snakes. I've also heard of large amounts of snakes gathering for reproductive and hybernation reasons. But 3,000 cobras underneath a home. Does anyone know or have guesses to details. Surely an average clutch of young is less than 30 for a female. I hate to sound so ignorant, but how social are cobras among themselves. How many adults were involved to have 3000 neonates and 100's more eggs. Any insight or info on resources would be great.

the ones they showed in the pix I saw were actually harmless checkered keelbacks, NOT cobras.
