Passing of Keith Taylor

I received a phone informing me that Keith Taylor had passed away. He did have health problems that put him in the hospital the past week or so.
For those of you that did not know who Keith was, he was the founder of Blackwater Rattlesnake Outfitters out of Cayce SC.
Our condolences and prayers go out to his wife , family and friends.

For those of you who did not know Keith, I posted some pictures in the field herping gallery. Keith, I am going to miss you greatly. God Bless you. May the Lord watch over Joanne and the kids.

I just came across this post today, what a shame. Keith was truly one of a kind. I hunted with him three years straight and it was always the highlight of my year. The lands he had access to and the years of work he put into laying out AC were incredible. However, the best part of the trip was just the time spent with Keith. He was just a truly nice guy who you could sit and talk herps with for hours. Even when the hunting was slow, just listening to his stories of past hunts and adventures made the day. His knowledge of and love for the South Carolina lowlands was incredible. His passing is a great loss and I will miss him greatly.
