I have a LTC 5' Florida cottonmouth that was VERY enormous. He has slowed on his eating dramatically (from once a week to once every 6 weeks). He is also losing weight rapidly. Right now his temps are at about 87 - 90 F. I have never brumated this guy. I was thinking of brumating.
A friend suggested I worm him. How should I worm him? What should I use, how much should I give, and how should I give it? He will hit rats but will not eat them. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. I've had this guy a while and would hate to lose him.
Thanks,
Vanyul

Best bet is to give a fecal sample of the snake to a local vet, then they will be able to give you the proper drugs and dosages to treat your animal.
Good Luck,
