Can anyone tell me exactly what happened in Arlington to make the county propose this ban? Someone mentioned a "scorched earth" approach, what do you mean by that? I'm sorry to be so dense, but I'm trying to filter through all the vitriolic nonsense to understand what is happening.

I'm not sure of what facts in the initial situation are real or imaginary. I'm still gathering facts. What I don't know as fact is the Arlington County is poised to enact a ban on keeping venomous reptiles by private parties.
