Ran into an interesting article today about my long time friend Okefenokee Joe. He gave his last show at the Athens' Bear Hollow Wildlife Trail Zoo today.
Many of you have seen Joe and his reptile shows all over the Southeastern States for the last 30 years.
Joe is 75 years old now, and having some health issues, so will probably be retiring from doing reptile shows this next spring. However, he still plans to do quite a number of shows until then.
If you have never seen one of his reptile shows, I would encourage you to check out the Calendar at his web site for where he will be the next few months.
