I have my paperwork for my license and should have all my hours but I have no certified way to document them and I was wondering what any other fl person had to do to prove their hours or if they are that strict when applying?
Next I was curious about enclosures that would pass inspection? I know in the paperwork it says stuff about glass thickness and such but does anyone here in fl have something that has been officially approved that you can buy (thats worth buying) or do you need to go custom?
Thanks for the help

What you need are two letters from people who can verify that you did the hours. They don't necessarily both have to have knowledge of all the hours, and they don't have to be permit holders, but they should be someone that will be taken seriously (not your mom or girlfriend). Wherever you put in your hours would be a good place to start.
My inspector wasn't particularly picky about the exact construction of the cages as long as they were secure. The rule mentions plate glass 1/4 think or something similarly strong. The thing is, plate glass is a joke. Almost any tempered glass, plexiglass or probably 1/16 inch lexan would be stronger, or more precisely, less likely to break.
What they ARE picky about is that you have a secure room. No big cracks, metal screen over any vents or windows and no gaps around or under the door. That's why the cages are not such an issue.
