Sometimes contacting the station and correcting wrong picture ID or anythign that is wrong, might bring results. So u might try to email them and tell them the snake with their venom article is indeed harmless.
Few montsh ago a reporter from one TV station on the east coast stole one picture from REXANO gallery.
To make long story short, we contacted the station, and REXANO got credited for the picture, every little exposure for our cause helps.
Maybe when these misidentifications of snakes happen in the media, contact the station, offer one of your venom pic for free and ask that SHHS be credited for the picture.
