Deleting a profile.

I changed my profile name because I really didn't like the other one. How do I delete my old account ? I didn't see a "delete account" button so I just wrote delete account where my name would be. Also, can I delete an ad if it gets old ?

Since all posts are archived, deleting a profile would cause a domino effect in the archives that would create a void that the code wasn't designed to deal with. The code for the site was written in 1999. Therefore, all we suggest that people do is remove their personal data from the profile and quit using it.
