Description: The Mojave Rattlesnake (Crotalus scutulatus) has well-defined light-edged diamonds down the middle of their backs fading to bands toward the tail. They can be colored greenish gray, olive-green, or occasionlly brownish or yellowish. Note, the one large scale over each eye. A truly beautiful snake, and a pleasure to keep (I have 3).
