Description: Our Aluminum Hooks are made to be ultra-lightweight and highly maneuverable; unmatched by any other around. Paired with a hardened steel shaft, our Aluminum Hooks are best suited for a show-type environment where there handler needs speed and precision. (Aluminum hooks are not intended for field usage or to support heavy-bodied snakes. If abused, you risk damaging the stick.)
The U-Hook is the standard snake handling stick. One of the first types of hooks ever made, this stick offers a wide range of uses.
The V-Hook is slightly different from the standard U-Hook. The curve of the V-Hook is narrower than that of the U-Hook. Some handlers prefer this hook for use with longer or thin-bodied snakes. The narrowness of the bend gives the handler more control over wound-up snakes and still allows for a safe distance and accuracy.
Our Aluminum Hooks come in a variety of sizes. The Standard Shafts range in size from approximately 26” to 46”. For added reach, our Extended Shafts range in size from approximately 47” to 54”.
