Great stuff

Time owned: more than 12 months

I bought the zippered kind from the local Bass Pro Shop (Outdoor World). I paid $99 as they were on sale, down from $130.
I've spent a little time in the field with these in NC. They're great for protection from general grassy moisture and shallow wading. I've taken a copperhead bite on the toe area where it's leather and had no problems with it. The boot comes with a guarantee for no snake bites, but I'm not sure exactly how that works out. ?!
I'll be using them extensively in Florida soon, so I could provide a much more detailed report after that. I also bought a pair of knee-high socks to go with them to reduce chapping on my skin and they work wonders as well.
The flexibility in the heel/ankle area may still need some wearing-in for me, but it is a bit stiff and this affects your gait just a hair.
Since they're uninsulated, they're nice and light. Most of the weight comes from the leather concentrated at the foot are and the rubber on the soles.
