What an informative overview of the Canebrake and delightfully presented.
Y'all need to remember is that you're experts -- the average person cannot see snakes in a good light unless enlightend as to their value and an understanding that reptiles (venomous and otherwise) are not evil. Since logging in to venomous reptiles, I've had office peers ask me what to do if they encounter a snake basking in the middle of their hiking trail. From them, I've come to realize that not everyone wants to murder our fellow trekers; sometimes they just need to know what to do.
I think videos like this can only help our cause. With kind regards, Katz =^..^=

I agree with Buzztail1. youtube allows any idiot to put up his videos and for other people to learn from his "facts." However, I enjoyed this vid. Good facts and not too dramatic. Good work!

I really hate the advent of YouTube.
Any moron with a computer has access to the mind of anyone with a keyboard and it is impossible to correct the damage that they do.
In the comparative scheme of things, this is a very nicely done video.
There are plenty of examples of videos that get almost everything wrong.
This one's message is good, the video is good, and a few facts are off.
Pick up a field guide from the 60s and see how much of that information is still correct.
Room for improvement? Sure.
A bad job? Not in my opinion.
Just my opinion.

I think it's better then Nat Geo Wild. It doesn't show the snakes as a brutally killer.

Not bad. It was entertaing and eductaional but not dull. As stated before, some of the facts were "shady," but overall I enjoyed the positive feel the film had. For those who are not herp enthusiasts, the calm music may help to subconciously relax the viewer. I think this was a pretty good film overall.
