Having a little more experience in SE Asia than most of you guys I expect the snakes have been rendered harmless in some way. The cruelty of some over here is hard to fathom. Stray dogs are often tortured for the fun of a few deranged at the fringes of society. I've not seen it happen, but have seen the effects almost daily. The developing world has a lot more on it's plate than enforcing animal cruelty laws, like stopping child sex rings, attempting a democratically elected government without a coup, and so on. In a perfect world, this place would be shut down. Also, it's a suburb outside of Bangkok, called Samutprakarn, and it's called the Crocodile Farm, not the Bangkok Snake Show.

are ya sure those are radiated ratsnakes an not silverphase red tail green ratsnakes? it looks alot like my female but its hard ta tell :S

There're some pretty cool vids of these shows with O. hannah on youtube. Look them up, pretty interesting.

ARZerkle is correct, those are both radiated rat snakes also known as copperhead racers(Coeloganthus radiatus) not cobras. At five - six seconds you can see the first one in the characteristic radiated rat snake defensive position. Radiated rat snakes are what they use to train for working with hots in shows like that. Also at the very beginning it sounds like the guy is saying "A racer snake."

no doubt in my mind that snakes venomoid. and if not sooner or later that idiot is gonna get tagged and it'll probably cost him his life. that crap people do for entertainment.
