I am researching a documentary film about people who
own exotic (non domestic) animals. Specifically we are
exploring the emotional connection between exotics and
their owners. The research has been going well and I’m
meeting some amazingly passionate and fascinating
people and their exotics. I realize that this is a huge,
sometimes controversial topic and can be very
emotionally/politically charged. And no, as I am
frequently asked, I am not with PETA or some faction of
the government. I’m just a guy interested in learning more
about these often unique animals and the equally unique
people who own them. I’d love to find a great venomous
snake story. If you own a venomous snake because you
feel there’s no more rewarding experience in terms of a
human/animal relationship or experience, I’d love to talk
with you and tell you more. Please contact me via the
email address tagged here. Thanks. Andrew Walton –

I just e-mailed USARK about the article in the Charolett Observer and Mr Wyatt e-mailed me back and said he was misquoted in both the Charolett and Raliegh papers.Just wanted to post this opinion before I got "nailed to the cross" for talking bad about USARK.

Before you praise USARK to much, you should read the legislation they are pushing through in North Carolina. The article is available on this website.

When I was a teenager, back in the jurrassic period, I thought i knew everything. I had never heard of USARK. I googled it and I will be joinning. I believe this is the best way to be heard. Our leaders seem to be moved only by large numbers. Hopefully this will help us to avoid problems in the future as well as now. I hope many of you will consider this!

Andrew had a USARK table set up at the Columbia Show. Hopefully, many of you were able to stop by there and become members of that orgainzation.
When the time comes to fight for your rights to keep reptiles, the information that USARK will be providing, will allow you to contact the right people at the right time, to help heep your reptiles.
Andrew gave me a USARK bumper sticker, and although I do not own a car, I am going to proudly display it on my John Deere Tractor.
And folks will see it when I drive on the road from one property to another.
Everyone try to support USARK if at all possible.
Best Regards John Z

Good message from Andrew. I look forward to good things from USARK in the future.
It is unfortunate that whoever was behind the camera kept the autofocus on though, as it resulted in a fairly blurry and distracting video as it tried to focus on the center of the picture behind both of the speakers.
Best Regards John Z
