I am researching a documentary film about people who
own exotic (non domestic) animals. Specifically we are
exploring the emotional connection between exotics and
their owners. The research has been going well and I’m
meeting some amazingly passionate and fascinating
people and their exotics. I realize that this is a huge,
sometimes controversial topic and can be very
emotionally/politically charged. And no, as I am
frequently asked, I am not with PETA or some faction of
the government. I’m just a guy interested in learning more
about these often unique animals and the equally unique
people who own them. I’d love to find a great venomous
snake story. If you own a venomous snake because you
feel there’s no more rewarding experience in terms of a
human/animal relationship or experience, I’d love to talk
with you and tell you more. Please contact me via the
email address tagged here. Thanks. Andrew Walton –

jim, i would like to take the time to say thanks for the work you do. needless to say you take a lot of risks handling venomous snakes. i have often seen your videos on youtube and enjoy the lessons. i must say
i have fround upon venomoids and the use of them like "david weathers" but i can see why he uses them. as long as the snake doesn't feel pain or get injured i guess its ok. well get back to milking those deadly snakes in the name of science. Please post more videos, i love them.
keep up the great work jim. be safe

Jaka,
Publish your research in a peer reviewed paper and maybe people might take your statements serious. Without good science its just voodoo or a scam.

I'm from Penang, Malaysia. Me and my friend have discovered a new anti-venom that is suitable to treat all kind of snakebites. It's not from snake venom, cheaper and safer. It's proven, seek a collaboration or a joint venture to put it to the world market.A big potential to be world market leader. Interested, do contact me. My cell. +6019 411 0111,

I keep saying this, but should we really keep snakes in small glass tanks simply for our enjoyment? Everyone here claims to love reptiles, but is keeping them in a confined space really showing that. Many comments posted on this subject are worried about this video, as they feel it will decrease their chances of being able to keep hots in captivity, but come on, they shouldnt be kept in captivity anyway!!!!
Sorry, but that's how I feel. I doubt any of you would like spending your life in a small cage.
Reptiles should be observed in their natural habitat, or only kept in captivity for research or education.
