Over the years, we have gotten so many requests from people wanting to start venom labs. Which of us wouldn't want to work with venomous snakes on a daily basis? But very few people have successfully made this leap, and in reality it's a pipe-dream for most. Here is the story of one individual who has overcome all obstacles and fulfilled the dream.

I think Daviewonder is a hippie liberal who
should go hang himself!
I don't tell him what to do or keep!
He should just shut up or DIE!!
i would like to see extraction from WesternDiamondBack and Mojave Rattlesnake

If you get the opportunity to go down to Deland and see the extraction show, in person, it is well worth the trip.
Carl and Denise are excellent at what they do and are very hospitable.

My advice to 'jennypoo' is 'don't'. Snakes should not be kept in a tank for the mere satisfaction of the owner. They're living creatures who should be able to live their life in their natural habitat, unless there is good reason not to, such as educational purposes or medical research, as shown in the video.
I myself am certainly not exempt from this. I bought a beutiful Texas Rat snake a few years ago, which turned out to be a huge mistake. Although I try to give him as good a life as possible, and enjoy handling and feeding him etc. the guilt of locking him up in a tank has being knawing away at me ever since I bought him.
In conclusion, if you claim to care about these amazing reptiles, or indeed the animal kingdom in general DO NOT BUY A SNAKE - you are only contributing to the industry which is depriving exotic animals of their life!!! Reptiles have been on this planet far, far longer than humans so you'd do well to show them some respect.

P.S - I don't know about anyone else but I could read the text in the video perfectly - maybe it's just you Cro (no offence intended). How about you make your own video if you can do better!?

I'm just returning from Iraq, where I met Chris who has been an outstanding friend. Now, that I'm in the states again, I'd really like to purchase another snake. I have no idea where to go or what to get. I could really use some help and would love to meet some fellow reptile fans.

Nice job on the video.
Very Educational, and good quality.
Looks like a fun place to visit in Florida.
They should have spend a bit more time telling folks who they are, and where they are located, and when folks can come and watch the venom extractions.
My only other objection is that the written parts of the video went by way too fast, making them hard to read. Perhaps edit a bit, and leave the text up twice as long. That would only add about a minute to the video, but would help a lot.
No sense having it, if it is gone too fast for folks to read.
Best Regards
