Thus far, we are under the impression that it was a hoax. We have very credible witnesses that claim to have seen "the deceased" since his alleged demise. Apparently he owed some individuals in the venomous community and the easiest way out was to hoax his death. But, who knows.

It was a hoax... He wants to 'Be on the down low!'. I am not sure what that means, but he should have known that there is a lot of intrest in bites, and more so for fatal bites! If he wanted to drop of the face of the earth, he would have done better to have just done that. All he did do was make people pay attention that otherwise would not cared. He also cost himself credibility in the eyes of many.
I know he burned bridges with me. I had met him a couple of times, gave his wife a bearded. Defended and spoke well of him when the thread first reporting his death was posted. I was shocked and dismayed to find out it was a hoaz. I was disapointed to get nasty mail because I verfied he was a live. As a side note the dragon I gave his wife turned up at the local pet shop...the kid that works at the shop verified he traded the lizard out to him. All in all I realy feel I miss judged the guy.
I though he seamed like a nice guy and he kept he small collection well. I realy beleaved he was the kind of guy the hobby need more of.
Maybe someday he will decided to explain himself. Maybe he has a reason for all of it...I just find it all hard to understand.
I dont have any hard feelings for the guy, but I dont think this hobby needs 'faked death reports'. We have enough to deal with...
