I`ll put it like this: the national bill for Romania is "leu"(it means lion in romanian). 1 dollar = 28.000 lei(that`s plural for leu) and 1 euro = 36.000 lei at the moment. So the euro is the second most expensive bill after the uk pound.
About the Zamenis situla, it must be realy rare if a baby costs 150 euro(about 200$) in Europe where it is found. A baby Zamenis longissimus which again isn`t very common costs 35 euro. And I`ve only caught one in 6 years of searching. This one is a semi-arboreal species. I`m glad I could be of some help. Unfortunatly it doesn`t live in Romania but maybe I`ll catch it on another trip to Greece or Bulgaria. There are loads of european snake species that I haven`t caught and desperatly want too.
