In the wild: Small mammals, lizards, frogs and birds.
Captivity: Usually mice.
They eat by putting it in their mouths and swallowing...

They have pretty long fangs and fast acting venom. THey bite their prey and hold on to it till it`s dead. Afterwords, they swallo it.
