I have to say it is wonderful to see a great site moderated by a true saint to all reptiles. I live in Arizona, where laws prevent me from keeping venomous snakes but I love to learn as much as I can. I have seen on the internet a color form of Bitis nasicornus called "true blue", displaying beautiful blue coloration with the beautiful patterning of the Rhino form. DDo you know is this a locality trait, color morph or unknown. Thanks in advance

I think you're talking about the "Itrutu Forest" variety from Ethiopia. They are claimed to have fantastic colors including "sky blues". Many dealers try to capitalize on this by claiming their neonates are from this area.
I don't claim mine is from this area but he is a pretty boy.

Hi Alex:
Yes I'm back and the photos are all up on that website, under wraps till I get them labeled and organized. Then I'll post them for all to see. As far as Hot snake pictures go there are not too many. It's impossible to be safe and to shoot photos without a person to control the wacky thing. Lots of other great photos of habitat, Lizards and other critters. It's the only country I've visited that I was sad to leave when the time came.....
