Hey Earthguy, I just posted a pic in the Crotalinae gallery. When it uploads you can see a great pic of my friends hybrid. Let me know what you think of the pattern.

It looks exacly as I would imagine a cross between those snakes should. My doubt was never "could they", I was more curious as to "would they" in nature. I have heard reports on this site, but other than an allusion in "Natural History" I haven't been able to find any papers (in Copeia, Herpetologica, HR, JH, etc). If they do, in fact, occur naturally within range overlap, then I would be in a good position to study them.
BTW, nice snake.
