Michael: I make my own hot sauces, have been for years. Even though I can make them very, very hot, most of them I stop short of that, as I like the flavor of the peppers to come through. I like to use Habaneros and Red Thai peppers, and some Chipolte for a bit of smoke. Email me your shipping address and I will send you a sample of one next time I make up a batch. Best Regards JohnZ

While I like the pepper taste oo, sometimes I just like to take the nuclear option. The last batch was habeneros, a jalpeno and a bit of onion and tomato just to be different, finely chopped and roasted in a pan until nearly dry, then reconstituted with just enough vinegar to get it to flow in the blender. If you try this, do the roasting on a grill outside...trust me, you do not want these fumes building up around you!
I order my curry "extra spicey" at place that KNOWS how to make curry, but this sauce is at a level where about the equivalent of one drop on a chip makes my forehead break out in a sweat...

Did I just stumble upon the Food Channel website? **double checks URL**
LOL j/k
I had some HOT sauce that had a nuclear symbol on it, anyone know what that is? I forget the name. Anyhow, it had a written warning that anyone with a heart condition and/or elderly should not take any. Well, I got dared to take some and I swallowed about a dime sized portion straight. Needless to say I couldnt breathe nor see anything for about 5 straight minutes. Most horrible experience of my life.

Larry your sauce sounds really good - I have never tried to make pepper sauce - I love to make pickles with habanero peppers in them though...those are pretty good.
I'm definitely planing to try your recipe, I'm just wandering for how long and how do you store it? The same way as pickles?
