Fresh hit Apalachicola King found a few weeks ago

Does anyone here know anything about an Apalachicola King that was hit on the west side of the ANF a few weeks ago. Supposedly a man with long hair in a ponytail, visible tattoos, driving a green Ford Ranger drove off with the snake. I heard he lives in Tallahassee. If anyone has any info or knows how to contact this person, would you let me know? I heard the snake was nearly patternless and would like to see some pics if possible. Thanks!

The mans name is Dr. Bruce Means. He took the snake for DNA research.
