It's really ashame you are pointing fingers everywhere you can.
On April 02, 2007 I recieved an email from sarecho7280@charter.net, inquiring about CB neonate King Cobras I had available for sale. In the email the author stated: "i'm in north alabama and yes i have a permit from the local sheriff's department that allows me to keep exotic venomous (nothing fancy, about like a CCW permit) and i'm experienced enough to deal with a picky king."
I then asked for a copy of the permit and what I recieved looked like something a 4th grader had made.
It is my policy to ALWAYS verify the legality of owning venomous reptiles before making a sale to anyone and if there is a permit involved you can rest assured that I will verify it with the issuing agency. I will also verify a potential customer's experience to make sure that I am not selling something to someone who will not be able to handle the animal.
After it took me more than a couple of days to respond I recieved another email stating that it in fact WAS a "REAL" Permit. However you had decided to purchase an animal elsewhere which was fine by me because I had already contacted the Sheriff's Office that allegedly issued this permit and they knew nothing about it. I also did not feel comfortable enough with your experience level to sell you a King Cobra.
The only contact I initiated was to verify the permit, any responsible person selling someone a venomous reptile should do the same thing.
After that all contact was initiated by the various law enforcement agencies and since they already had all of my information I would have to be a fool not to cooperate with them.
I do everything by the books, I have all of the proper permits and do everything I can to make sure that my animals do not end up somewhere they do not belong. I have lost sales because of this but will not hesitate to lose another sale because I feel someone is inexperienced or trying to keep an animal illegaly.
As for your claim about someone advising you not to do business with me, I would love to know who this mystery person is. I have not had a single unsatisfied customer and I can produce enough references to make your claim look rediculous.
I suggest you stop making yourself out to be a victim in this situation and stop trying to do things illegaly. It would be better for yourself and the entire community of venomous keepers.
I will not get into a pissing match with you on here but felt that something had to be said.

THANK YOU, this is the info i tried to get from you about 3 months ago and you said you didn't wanna get involved, remember? why post it now but NOT tell me a thing THEN?
and this mystery person is peter nguyen. he said he was a financier of your's and after talking to him a few times, he mentioned that i shouldn't deal with you because your animals weren't in great shape. i told him that i hadn't and wouldn't and that was that.
i'm all for being honest with them, give them everything you can on me, that's what i've already done lol. they refuse to take my computer or my old emails though, heck, i tried. sarecho7280 was a short lived account because it was hacked along with rickyduckworth@charter.net and then i went to a new, more complicatd password, got rid of my home wireless network (apartments, bunch of unwanted usage) and haven't had a problem since. i'm pretty sure a few can vouch for this "hacked account" thing. this isn't the first time i mentioned it. i suspected my soon to be ex-wife but didn't find anything so i never found out who and why. a few people received emails from me that i didn't send and one was even about something i was selling. in one email we're discussing price and in the next he's told to come get it for free.
mischief. if this "permit" that i've yet to see is part of that, then awesome, but i promise you i'm not going down for it. it was for a county i don't even live in, therefore rendering it useless. i USED to live in that county years ago, but i don't know and haven't since '99.
you were a jerk when i contacted you back in may about this and were not helpful. you "didn't wanna get in the middle of this", remember? i've been waiting for this and some bogus shipping charges though. i'm ready for it ;)

When you contacted me personaly I did not want to get involved in it. Now you are putting my name out in public saying that you were advised not to do business with me.
Since you openly admit who it was that told you this, I'd like to clarify for the record. I have never had more than a phone call or email conversation with Peter Nguyen. If he were to walk into a room with me I wouldn't have a clue as to who he was.
I know the name and that he wanted to buy / trade some animals and that never took place.
NO ONE has ever "financed" Northshore Reptiles or myself other than me, nor will I ever allow that to happen.
If Peter is saying otherwise then let him clarify.

and take note of this, do a search in this forum for rickyduckworth
now sarecho7280
i last posted in february according to that, this all happened in what, april and may?
seem kind of odd that my "excuse" is kind of supported by what name i had posted under? on TRR my first name was banned for some of that same mischief and i never reregistered and still use the sarecho7280 s/n on there, although i don't post there much.
at that time i had switched to richardduckworth@charter.net because that's when i had the problems with someone else using my account
do a search for richardduckworth on this forum. i was using that account BEFORE i was supposedly emailing you and other people from that other account, WHICH I HAD DELETED ONLINE. you see, whomever was using it also undeleted it at the charter.net site BEFORE it could officially go through. i eventually had to call them and delete it because my logon name was negatively affected and i couldn't log on with the current name. even to this day, to pay my bill online, i have to log on with sarecho7280 but use my new password. they can't change it even though they've deleted the account from my list. i'll admit that my old password was not difficult to crack. until i learned about all of that and how easy it was, i had no clue about programs. now, i know that passwords of 16 characters or longer are far more effective as are passwords with a letter/number/symbol combo. live and learn, didn't think it would come to this.

if that's the case, then fine, that's why i didn't run around slamming you everywhere, you notice that? if he's full of hot air then he's one of many and i guess i fell for it. he seemed to know his stuff, seemed very knowledgeable and heck, he may be the mysterious "hacker", who knows.
i THOUGHT he was an upfront guy and took his word for it and i haven't purchased anything from you nor did i try and i certainly didn't create a crappy permit (again, haven't seen anything more than a passing glance the day the fish and game guys showed up at my place looking for killer exotics)
i honestly thought that YOU had something to do with this, then figured ronnie willis was the cause and he is the one who got the ABI to investigate this phoney permit. i'm sure i'll be charged and will have to get a lawyer but i wanted to be able to help myself as much as possible by gathering evidence

You are accomplishing nothing by whining about your illegal activity in a forum that’s not suited for said content. Also, I have done business approx $1500 worth with Eric and he was very professional and curt. No complaints at all with his service.

lol, not whining about my illegal activity, just putting this situation out there for mass consumption and for future reference. there are problems with the guys running things at the fish and game in alabama. that's worth mentioning and this ongoing thing is proof of it. i fully expect to have to fight "illegal shipping" charges as well, but probably later this year.
as for your transaction with northshore, so what? i've not pretended to have any firsthand experience with the place and don't plan to. never went around putting the place down either. a lot of people have dealt with the place from what i understand. really doesn't matter. they're in the middle of it because someone sent them a bogus permit and they sent it to the sheriff of a neighboring county and now they're coming at me like i created it.

if anything, it should also show that northshore runs permits and does things by the book. if eric marquette and everyone else wants to assume "i was busted" then that's fine, doesn't matter one way to me. all that matters is that i gather as many facts to help myself out if the time comes to do so. they didn't catch me with a forged document and don't seem to wanna try really. they have a COPY of a document that was emailed to northshore so the sender should have one somewhere, and in early may when they were unexpectedly at my place, i offered my computer and both laptops, i offered them today and they won't take them. they could have taken them without a search warrant if i had signed them over, but nope. i understand how nowadays you're guilty until proven innocent, that's fine, but if i hadn't made this post i'd not have gotten that tidbit of info from eric because he wouldn't send it to me when i asked about it all back in may.
i'm going to quit posting as to not make this a sideshow that takes away from the site. i felt it was worth posting just so people can see what they may or may not be up against.
have a great one hombres.

If I was a "jerk" back in May perhaps it was because I felt you tried to pull a fast one on me with this forged permit and didn't want anything further to do with you.
You are 110% correct that I do things by the book and will continue to do so.
If you are trying to imply that you were never in any trouble regarding the sale and purchase of illegal snakes one needs only to visit the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' website and go to the newsroom section and scroll down to May 8th, the story is there in plain view for the public to see.

I agree with Daniel. This shouldn't be the place for richardduckworth to come to and complain. I have only been coming to this site for a few months, but everytime I do, he's on it with something negative. The only thing that I have gathered is that he's been arrested for various charges by different agencies, his wife's leaving him, everyone hacks into his computer and causes him to be banned from other sites, and everyone is against him. I am from Alabama and have never had these kind of problems with the Game and Fish Officers in my area, nor do I know of anyone that has. I'm sure I will get chastised for this like the guy a couple of weeks ago that richardduckworth jumped on for asking questions and having a yahoo email address. Like Daniel verifing that Eric is excellent to do business with, so richardduckworth comes back with something smart to say.
