do yourself a favor, ditch the venomous snakes, start with a corn snake and retire from youtube. Honestly, in as polite a manner as I can possibly muster, you have no business keeping venomous snakes. There are many well documented cases of venomoids turning the tables and envenomating their keepers. To free handle a venomoid as you showed in your video just shows the sheer and utter lack of respect for the snake and also shows the complete irresponsible and immature behavior of the keeper...YOU. Change your profile...starting with a venomoid is just about the worst advice I've ever heard. Done huffing. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be encouraging to the younger folks. Maybe next time. Seriously, man, I do hope you grow up a bit, take some good advice from folks on this forum who've been around for a while. Thankfully, you are young enough to change and do things right. That's all we can hope for.

first of all if the surgery is done right way they cannnot ever envenomate, secondly ive been keeping rattlers since i was like 14, i have kept bitis,naja,o.hannah,and artheris i do konw what i am doing and that naja's fangs where clipped, i have spent the last few years reading and studying, thank you

I also agree with everything stated above. I think your advice to new keepers should say, "go slow, start with a mentor!" Onto the venomoid issue. Are you certain that the snake has had both glands and ducts removed, because the ducts can grow back. Are you sure that the vet that did the procedure 100% correctly? I don't know about you, but I don't trust anyone that much to take their word in such a potentially dangerous situation. I was also curious, what did you mean by the snakes fangs being "clipped"? I hope that you don't take any of this as a flame, because I definitely don't mean it that way. I just think that if you are going to keep venomous snakes, do it right, and what I saw, in the video of you handling the cobra, was the furthest thing from it. Videos of you carelessly handling venomous snakes aren't cool; they just draw unneeded attention to a hobby that already has alot going against it. Hopefully you will listen to more experienced people's advice and not feel threatened by it. Also, finding a mentor would definitely be a good place to start. There are alot of people on here with tons of knowledge and experience to pass on, so ask questions and be safe!

Remember, you learn nothing by handling a UNLOADED GUN. I will hope that in the future, you will see the needless danger you put yourself and others in by pushing this Learn With Venomoid Idea.

He has been repeatedly banned for refusing to follow the rules of posting ads and admittedly keeping illegally.

I knew it Karl !!!
I briefly looked over his profile last night before posting how uterly stupid his motives, video, and post here were. The name Chandler caught my attention.
I guess he thought he was finally "cool enough" to show his face for the first time.
I dont think I have ever seen anyone more stubborn come here, and spread that ammount of stupidity.
I hesitate in saying this, but..... he rivals Nick as far as idiotic comments and behavior.
Keep on it Karl, and thanks! Don't these nit-whits ever give up after being banned that many times?
