First off I would check your local/state laws. Go to www.coastalreptiles.com. Then go to Venomous laws on his page. Also I suggest that you find another hot keeper in your area to show you the ropes. Good luck

I dont think minors are legally permitted to have venomous reptiles. And a word for the wise i would check with your DNR for reptile laws, regulations, permits as sometimes the info you find on the net isnt accurate or up to date. There will most likely be some kind of federal, state,or local laws regulations or permits.

Im gonna go out on a limb, and actually judge a book by its cover and tell you not to get a venomous snake. Judging by your demeanor and spelling and info in your profile, I'd say you're just not old enough (13!!)or mature enough to keep up with the responsibility. You're welcome to frequent these forums and such and collect info or pictures or whatever, tell us about herping trips, but stay away from venomous snakes. There's more to snakes than just the venomous kind. Build some experience starting now until you're 18 with non-vens. Then consider what you want to do.
Talking to a 13 year old can sometimes be like talking to a brick wall, I really hope you take this to heart and dont rush into something you're underprepared for.

He's not a real member. On his email address, he has a hyphen. Emails make you put underscores instead of hyphens. What do they call them? Trolls? This is definetly someone doing this for attention. Definetly. It was funny at first, but..................................

What license and permits you need depends on your state. FL is the only state I know of that will issue a venomous reptile license. Some other states have a permit system on the books, but have some type of loophole that prevents you from getting it. You do not volunteer enough information for me to give the answer you need. What state are you in? I would also add this, unlike some, I firmly believe in living people to do as they like, but in today’s political climate, you keeping hots at 13 is a time bomb. If you were to get envenomatied the democrats in the press would have a field day and they would probably prosecute your parents.
