Hmmmm. I stated my valid complaints and they were promptly deleted. Perhaps we are onto something here, my friends. Might I suggest, as a group, we make these people's lives miserable? It could even be fun. The beauty of it is there's that whole freedom of speech thing. You MAY SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT!! Our voice must be heard. What are you waiting for? Maybe the next time you are bored, you can make it a point to post in. Perhaps once....maybe twice ......or 10 times a day.

You gotta love the messages that pop up when you access the guestbook:

I attended the roundup a few years ago and I was disgusted to say the least. I cant believe that this is still going on. It almost makes me ashamed to live anywhere near this place. I used to look for Crotalus atrox in sweetwater. I used to see find a beautiful female western diamondback everytime I went to my "Secret spot" in sweetwater. I went back a few weeks ago to find her and my secret spot turned out to be not so secret. Can you imagine how this could make me feel so helpless. I cant even help the animals I love. I was just imagining what had happened to that beautiful snake. The animal that has survived here for ages. I cant believe people can be so heartless. It tears my heart out. The rattlesnake is a symbol of America. The americas are only place in the WORLD that has these beautiful animals. Lets educate the public and be proud of the animals god blessed us with. Lets live in peace. I thank god every day that I still have the priviledge to share my life with these brilliant animals. I hope my kids kids kids can also experience seeing these beautiful animals in the wild also. We have come to a time that we NEED to conserve everything we can. The world cant take much more of this. Whats it going to be? Money and spectators or simply life? I think if we share these animals with the world in an educational matter,people will come from all around to share it with us. To see our beautiful state and to see that we love our animals. Lets stop the killing and reach out and make an impact. I love texas. I love our animals,especially the rattlesnakes. The rattlesnake is the symbol of pride and power. The rattler doesnt take more than it needs. It want mess with you if you dont mess with it. It survives. It has been here long before I have. We have no right to destroy any of the animals that live here. Who are we to invade and prosecute? Who are we to say which animals deserves to be on this earth? Why cant we all see that killing like this is wrong? Why cant we live in peace with our animal neighbors? They are doing nothing but helping us. The would not be here if they didnt have some kind of purpose. The rattlesnake is one of the most advanced animals in the world. It has survived for ages and carried on. Is the end of this species going to come down to money? Leave them alone. Let them be. Let them do their job. Let them carry on again. Next time you are gassing a hole or collecting, take a second and think about what you are doing. Seriously. Even if you kill the snake anyway, just take a whole minute and think about what it was like before we invaded. Think about what is going to come of this. Think about right and wrong. Just imagine that someone was doing what you are doing to the snake to you or your family. Next time you see a rattlesnake, be proud. This animal deserves respect. Snake will help keep the rodent population down and in the end prevent diseases caused by nasty rats, but in the end, thats not what it comes down to. It comes down to common sense. Think, that animal is here.....It wouldnt be here if it wasnt supposed to be. It is serving some purpose on this land just like we are. We must not tamper with the rules of nature. We must not have fear.

Steve Bennet...I know the real meaning of life. When I leave this world, I want to be assured that things will be the way they are supposed to be. Join me. Lets stop the slaughtering. And to the parents. Teach your kids the real meaning of life. Show them something more than just killing everything they see. Let them grow up respecting nature. In the end they will become better people.
