Well I had originally planned on going to Pecos Texas. But I had just randomly picked it on the map, because my references showed rattlesnake populations in that area. And truthfully I had no idea if I was going to have success there. Now you have me very interested in going to Del Rio. I checked the mileage and it's only another hour drive then if I went to Pecos, anyway. Well not to quiz you too much, but you said that you had success on Juno road. Is this road easily found from Del Rio? And is it fairly private from traffic? I was just curious as to just how much opportunity there is to look for snakes in and around the city. I'm really not even sure how big the city is but all I care is that I find a decent hotel to stay in. I was also curious as to what other snakes you found while you were there. Well thanks a lot for the help.

Anthony, when you reach Del Rio look for rt277 north to Comstock, then when you come into Comstock turn right on to Juno Rd.It runs east for about 75miles(small two lane road) Juno runs back into 277 south to Del Rio.One big circle of snake paradise!we caught two W diamonds,2 great plains rat,1 northern rat,1 porqupine,2 armadillos and saw 4 ring tail cats.OH and huge Texas bull snake, which I had to keep 7ft.That was all in one rain filled night. Good luck! Ps Juno is only 30ml north of Del Rio. My twin and I are heading back in the fall from Virginia keep in touch and maybe we can herp it together Later Jeff Quarles
