Reply by Naja_oxiana on May 4, 2002 Mail this to a friend! Perhaps the most important thing to do is reassure the victim that everything will likely be alright. Then imobilize the bitten area, do pretty much anything to keep the heartbeat down which will slow the spread of the venom. Do not use a turnikit!! Do not cut the bite to suck out the venom.
