It would be especially helpful if you would post what area you live in so that the appropriate people could respond to your post.

I'd be real careful who you let in on your venomous snake fasination and that you either want to keep or are keeping them presently.
Keep in mind there are very few places anymore that will legally allow you to do this and chances are better than not that you're not living in one of those places. It's nice that you want to be legal ( wouldn't we all ? ) but I think it's best to keep it quiet with the way the authorities are. Even if it were legal where you are now and you had the required permits, two years or so down the road the ordinances might be changed and you're a sitting duck. This recently happened to a friend of mine.
I have a friend that has been keeping venomous snakes for over thirty five years in a place it never was legal to do so. If he would have asked he would have been stopped before he got started. He wouldn't have had the chance to work with and breed the animals he has because of a panel of people that are unable to understand the reasons behind our fasination with reptiles. Their answers would most likely be to shoot it down because its so far removed from what is considered 'normal.
It's your decision and this is only my opinion. I don't keep hot snakes because of a wife and kids but that's my reason I choose not to (plus a local friend with an incredible collection I can see anytime!) not because of town ordinances.

I'm just a bit concerned anonymous, with your way of thinking. Even though you say that you don't keep any venomous, you can't meerly keep it quiet. Keeping hots in an area that is not legal to do so will only cause undue fear and eventually more restrictive legislation for those who do choose to keep them legally. Keeping quiet will be all the more difficult in the event of an escape (heaven forbid) or in case of envenomation. There are far more states that do allow hots than don't anyway. In some cases permits are required but if your love is hots, that shouldn't be a problem. It is by far better to stay legal than to advocate otherwise. Just my opinion.
