i will need your help about the proper medication for a serious problem (vomiting)with my new two young male alpino atrox. i use to treat all my regurgitation problems (due to internal parasites) with metrodynazol for protozoa loads and fenebendazole for internal parasites. please let me know if i can use this scheme in my alpino atrox babies (vomit twice already second third day small meal) or please suggest me any other scheme.
thanks in advance for any info
looking for your suggestions

Yes you can, but did the mother carry parasites? How did they get them so young in captivity? Either way you will be fine, just use the correct amount.

Mar: Make sure you are keeping the atrox warm enough, also.
A lot of snakes will regurgetate their meals if they are being kept too cold.
This can especially be a problem in the winter months.

Definitly bump their heat up.A basking spot at 90 to 100 is a must.Parasites in c.b. babies would be weird?? All my Atrox Albino or not have all been GREAT feeders and never gurged on me.I would say to stop feeding them for a week, bump their heat up and try again. Was the mother a WC animal? Internal parasites would be very strange coming from cbb babies (As most Albino Atrox are). Tell us a little more how you are housing them and what type of feeding schedule you are keeping. That might help a little. Also fill out your profile a little more. You might have someone in your area that might be able to assist you. Hope some of this helps and I hope the babies come out alright. Keep in mind these are very hearty little critters that should be feeding without any problems....Trey

dear friends
first of all i have to say that iam located in Europe
my 4 babies alpino atrox 2.2are cb and are only 3 months old. i have also 1.1 het of alpino all females are doing perfect, its seems strange to me that the problem are in males. in first meals most took frozen large pinkies, i use heatpads and a 2%uvb light, they prefer cool area, they stopped accept frozen and they will take only alive small fuzzies and they will never refuse small hairless mice.
i am keeping years now large rattles without any problems. after i let them a week on diet and offer orally flagyl (metrodynazole) and panacur (febendazole) not any vomit occure, i raise the temp to 37C and night 26 i saw today after your advise to use the heat spot lamp to like that a lot .iam located in Greece (athens) and iam keepingfor 11 years many kinds of reptile especially boids and two years know iam doing a field study in 6 species of macroviperas and viperas (vibera ursinii, ammodytes, v.berus bosniensis , v.xanthina and macrovibera lebentina and m.v.schweizeri) i will be glad to share my knowlage and experience in above species
many thanks for the advices you gave me
regards
