WOW Thats a cool book. I must admit its the firt time seeing it. Well something a long time ago was in the HOT issue of Reptiles it was by Hunter&Harper and I think it was called Venom 101 but I cant remember I wore that issue out and had to throw it away.

That article was called, "Safety Tips for Venomphiles" and I believe it was in the Aug 2001 or 2002 issue of Reptiles. I have it around here somewhere! It was very similar to Venom 101, but more of an overview. It wasn't specific, detailed how-to information like Venom 101 was.

Yeah that's it, I hate that I had to throw it out but thats the way it goes anyway I learned alot from it I was still pretty green on keeping hot's not that I'm a expert now but It helped alot, now that I have the venom 101 I can refer back to it if needed or pass it on to a newbe

Venom 101 or Hots 101 was absolutely the best and only thing around back when it came out. Alan Hunter was a true pioneer in the private venomous community.
B. W. Smith's new book takes Hots 101 a few steps further and expounds quite a bit on each tennet of safe keeping and handling.
Brian really did a good job and the book is well worth the price.
Does that mean I threw away my copy of Hots 101?
Of course not.
I'm old but not senile!
