I have a couple of juvenile C. atrox and it seems that one of them sometimes changes colors from grey to brown and back to gray. Have you heard of anything like that?

The change in the coloration of your rattler is probably due to change in light, temperature along with humidity all my rattlers seem to change a little with these factors.
