I got my first dusky pigmy in 1982. Every single one I have had, since then, started right in on pinky mice. A lot of people have told me that they have problems getting them to feed on pinkies and some have resorted to anoles and other feeder lizards. Here is one trick I found by accident. Take a plastic bowl (like soft margarine comes in) and cut a hole in the bottom of it that is twice the diameter of your snake. Put it upside down in the snake's cage as a hide box. When the snake is in the hide box, dangle the pinky (with long-handled tongs or forceps, of course) through the opening in the hide box until the snake strikes. Release the pinky down into the hide and check back the next day. The pinky should be gone and the snake a little fatter. Good luck, Karl
