Hi everyone. Has anyone had trouble joining the North Carolina Herp Society? I mailed them a check almost 4 weeks ago for membership, as well as sent several emails with no replys. I was hoping to make their annual meeting, but it doesnt look like that will happen. Just hoping to join my local herp club, but not sure if its gonna happen??!!

I don't think you need to be a member to attend. I would go. You can probably get things straightened out there. Find Jerry Reynolds the pres or Ron Sutherland the vp and tell them Andrew Wyatt from NC Association of Reptile Keepers sent you. I'm sure they will get you squared away. It should be a great program w/ Venom1 as a highlight.
If you keep venomous in NC we need to talk about you joining us at NCARK. Are you planning to go to the show in Raleigh on the 6th? If you are interested in keeping your right to private ownership you should plan to attend.
