I'd like to know something I saw you post on the reply to the person who wants a cobra and can't find one...
Okay...I obviously made a mistake with not knowing this before owning my first venomous, but how exactly do you treat a snakebite before you get to the hospital? I'm about 10 minutes from it, so I never thought about it. I don't need criticism from everyone else, just some straight forward answers (please). Any webpages you know of talking about how to take care of a snakebite? I can't find much on the net on venomous, although I haven't much time to look (full time job, full time dad).
Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Will get back to you on this, but a quick answer ( walking out the door ) is to go to the Links page on this site and look at the category "Snakebite". Particularly look at the link "Cobra Envenomation Protocol". Treating Rattlesnake bites and Cobra bites is different. The links are a good place to start though. Snakebite treatment is something you need to spend some time studying.
